Every player's heart was beating faster as they reached the final minutes of the game. 4 teams played semi, 2 teams knocked out and 2 teams qualified to the FINAL. Following are the highlights of both games played at Semi Finals.
Semi Final 1, 1 June, Saturday - FC Harukoh Hilakoh vs Lazer X
Weather wasn't so nice at the game but players didn't gave a damn about it. There was so many attacks on goals by both of the teams during the first 5 minutes and hence, the first goal of the game was scored by "Lazer X" from a penalty. "Lazer X" yet again netted to make it 2 - 0. Then there came a hope for "FC Harukoh" as they continued to attack and scored their first goal. "FC Harukoh" level and by a mistake of the defender, "FC Harukoh" take out the lead and make it 3 - 2. During the final minutes of the game, "Lazer X" level the score and defends well. But at last minute, again by a mistake of defender gave "FC Harukoh", the lead and they qualified to the Final. Full time: FC Harukoh 4 - 3 Lazer X
Semi Final 2, 2 June, Sunday - No Way Out vs Riverside
Another important day for both of the teams and the last game of tournament before final. "No Way Out" scored the first goal of the game and lead until the last minute. There was pressure on defenders, as they don't want a goal conceded to their net. An own goal of defender gave "Riverside" the hope at the final second of full time. As it was level 1 - 1 at full time, they went to a 3 minute extra to get the result. The same defender yet again scored an own goal and "Riverside" took the lead. There was immense pressure on both teams as they don't want to eliminate from semi's. A corner was taken and "Riverside" scored the important goal and they qualified to the Finals. Full Time: 1 - 1, After Extra Time: No Way Out 1 - 3 Riverside
"FC Harukoh Hilakoh" and "Riverside" will take on each other at 4th of June, Tuesday at FINAL of "Hinnavaru Beach Soccer Championship 2013". These 2 teams will be written down in history as the first ever finalist of Hinnavaru Beach Soccer.
